60 minute Lecture|Mr Kelvin Lake

Abstract
A VERY brief look at some of the amazing mining remains that can still be found both on the surface and underground in the southern part of Spain - probably one of the most intensely mineralized areas of Europe. Mining has taken place in this region from pre-Roman times to the present day. Although, now it is occurs in a few large opencast pits.
