Progress towards a British Cave Monitoring Centre
30 minute Lecture|Prof John Gunn
Abstract
BCRA and Buxton Civic Association (BuxCA) have signed an agreement to establish a British Cave Monitoring Centre at Poole's Cavern, Derbyshire, a tourist cave owned by BuxCA. The agreement runs from 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2022 but the intention is that this will be a long-term (ideally 'in perpetuity') project. The talk will outline objectives and progress to date which includes installation of Tinytag Radio-loggers generously donated by Gemini Data Loggers (UK) Ltd.
