Forest of Dean Round Up

Abstract
Redhouse Lane Swallet Cave & Slaughter Stream Cave continue to dominate the Forest of Dean caving area. Both having seen discoveries over the last year. However, around the Forest and the surrounding area work continues at many sites. Also, this year has seen the Forest of Dean cave Conservation Group become the latest Regional Council within the BCA. What a milestone this is and something that when Paul Taylor started caving in the Forest of Dean 59 years ago would not have been possible.
The area continues to grow and punch well above its weight.
Following on from last year a further Rescue Exercise was held in Redhouse to continue the development work.
