Hidden Earth 2024

Matienzo Caves 2024

45 minute Lecture|Juan Corrin

Matienzo Caves 2024

Abstract

Another successful year for cavers and cave divers in Matienzo, Cantabria. Over 6km of passages surveyed with the Four Valleys System growing by over two kilometres to maintain its 40th position in the World's Longest Caves list. Draughting digs, as usual, appear tantalizingly close to opening up and providing links between systems.
Plenty to go at in 2025, the 65th year of Matienzo caves explorations!
