Hidden Earth 2019
Visualising Cave Sound Workshop
30 minute Workshop|Phil Wolstenholme and Dominika Wroblewska
Abstract
The workshop will feature selected tracks (or track extracts depending on timing) from a collaborative sound work 'The Lure of the Hole' by Phil Wolstenholme and Dominika Wroblewska, utilising natural cave sounds to create six separate pieces. The sounds include rocks, mud, water and vocals , and were recorded in 3D sound to best replicate the cave environment. Participants will be invited to draw their listening experience in real-time using provided materials, and a question and answer session will follow.
