Hidden Earth 2019
Ghar Parau Foundation
45 minute Lecture|Phil Rowsell
Abstract
The Ghar Parau Foundation on 18th September 2019 became its own independent charity. Along with this and recent decisions by the committee certain procedures have changed slightly. This is an update of where the Ghar Parau Foundation is, and where we envisage it to be going in the future. Currently GPF are disappointed that many expeditions do very little science investigation other than surveying. GPF feels this needs to change and intending to help expeditions increase their science content. A GPF expedition science weekend in early spring is currently being planned. Come along and find out more as well as ask questions in the question and answer session for those that might have questions about the application process.
